“Peterson Group,” “we,” or “us”)
collect, use, disclose
and retain Personal Information (as
defined below)
collected from or about any individual
that interacts with
us, including but not limited to our
guests, tenants,
service providers or business partners
(collectively
referred to as “Users”, “you”) both
offline and on the
websites, applications (“apps”), and
services where this
Privacy Policy appears or is referenced.
Protecting
Personal Information provided to us by
you and using,
disclosing, and retaining it in
accordance with applicable
privacy legislation is a key value of
the Peterson Group.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to
personal information
Peterson Group collects from its
employees and personnel.

app, or service
from which this Privacy Policy is
referenced, you confirm
that you have read, understand, and
consent to the terms
of this Privacy Policy and the
collection, use and
disclosure of your personal information
in accordance with
the Privacy Policy. If you do not
consent, you must not
access or use the website, the app, or
the service.

Personal Information

identifiable individual”,
consistent with Canadian data protection
laws, such as the
British Columbia Personal Information
Protection Act

data that is de-identified and/or
aggregated and cannot be

(inquiry), use our
services, websites, mobile apps and/or
Wi-Fi, register to
receive our newsletter, invitation and

or when you rent our premises.

but not limited to social insurance

numbers, provincial or

purchased, obtained, or considered, or
other purchasing or
consuming histories or tendencies;
internet or other
electronic network activity information,
such as browsing
history, your interaction with our
websites and other

when you interact
with us online; geolocation data;
professional or
employment-related information;
information we may collect
automatically when you visit our
properties, such as
images captured by security cameras;
other information
provided to us in connection with the
provision of our
services including insurance
information; and inferences
drawn from any of the information listed

We usually collect personal information

with your consent, or otherwise as
permitted or required
by privacy laws and any other applicable
laws. We may also
collect the following type of

Security Video
As a security measure for our properties
and in order to
ensure the safety of our tenants, guests
and visitors of
our properties, we may use security
video monitoring and
recording at our properties. This
collection is subject to
applicable privacy laws and may be
shared in limited
circumstances, as detailed in “Section
5. Sharing of your
Personal Information” below.
Browser, Device and Technical
Information
When you visit our websites, or use our
mobile apps,
and/or Wi-Fi, we may use electronic
means such as cookies,
to collect technical information about
your browser or
device, and about your usage of such
websites, mobile
apps, IT systems and/or Wi-Fi. This
information may
include information about your visit or
usage, including
the IP address of your device/computer,
the browser you
used to access our websites, mobile
apps, IT systems or
Wi-Fi, your operating system, your
mobile device’s media
access controls (“MAC”) address,
resolution of screen,
language settings in browsers, the site
you came from,
keywords searched (if arriving from a
search engine), the
number of pages viewed, as well as
information you
captured and advertisements you saw. For

information that we collect,
use or share about you when you visit
and/or use our
websites, mobile apps or Wi-Fi, please

Online Analytics
We use online analytic programs and
service providers
which allows us to see information on
users’ online
activities including, but not limited
to, page views,
source and time spent on our websites
and/or mobile apps.
This information is depersonalized and
is displayed as
numbers, meaning that it cannot be
tracked back to a
particular individual.
Online Remarketing
We may use remarketing programs and
service providers to
advertise Peterson Group across the
Internet and to
advertise on third party websites to
previous visitors to
our websites. Remarketing will display
ads to you based on
what parts of the Peterson Group
websites you have viewed
by placing a cookie on your web browser.
It could mean
that we advertise to previous visitors
who haven’t
completed a task on our site or that we
advertise on
search engine result pages or other
website. This cookie
does not in any way identify you or give
access to your
computer or mobile device. The cookie is
only used to
indicate to other websites that you have
visited a
particular page on our websites, so that
they may show you
ads relating to that page. If you do not
wish to accept
cookies, you have the option of blocking
or disabling
cookies. However, please be aware that
you may be unable
to access certain parts of our website
if you do block or

Geolocation Information
When you use our Wi-Fi or similar
technologies, we may
gather information about your device,
such as an
anonymized version of your device’s MAC
address and the
Relative Signal Strength Indicator
(RSSI), to determine
your device’s approximate location
within our properties.
This information is used to improve your
ability to use
our Wi-Fi service and connect to our
network, to manage
our services, including troubleshooting,
and to generate
location analytics in an aggregated
format, as further
detailed in “Section 4. Use of Personal
Information”
below.
Social Media
If you sign into one of our websites,
mobile apps or Wi-Fi
using a social media account such as
Facebook or Twitter,
we will collect information that you
have added in your
registration profile from those
accounts, and which is
made available to us by default by
Facebook or Twitter.
For instance, when you log in to our
Wi-Fi using your
social media account, you authorize us
to collect (or to
receive) information about your profile,
such as your
name, age, gender and email address. We
may also collect
personal information about you from your
use of social
media networks you participate in
(“Social Media
Channels”), although at all times, in
compliance with
applicable privacy laws. You may also
choose to
participate in a third party app or
feature (such as one
of our Facebook or Twitter apps or a
similar app or
feature on a third party website)
through which you allow
us to collect (or the third party to
share) information
about you, (including personal
information) such as
details of your friends/connections,
“likes”, comments you
have shared, groups and location. In
addition, we may
receive information about you (including
your Personal
Information) if other users of a
third-party website give
us access to their profiles and you are
one of their
friends/connections or information about
you is otherwise
accessible through your
friends’/connections’ web page,
profile page, or similar page on a
Social Media Channel or
other third-party website or interactive
service. We may
supplement the information we collect
about you directly
with the information we receive from
third parties in
order to enhance our ability to serve
you, to tailor our
content to you and, with your consent,
send you details of
promotions and/or offers which we
believe may be of
interest to you, although at all times,
in compliance with
applicable privacy laws.
Vehicle Information
If you park in one of our properties, we
may collect
information about your vehicle for the
purposes of
managing our parking facilities,
providing parking
services to you, and enforcing our
parking regulations.
SECTION 4. Use of Personal Information
We may use your personal information to
provide our
services (including our real estate
leasing services), for
our own internal purposes as well as for
marketing and
advertising purposes, although in the
latter case, subject
to your right to withdraw consent as
detailed in “Section
6. Your consent and the right to
withdraw consent” of this
Policy. We may also anonymize and/or
aggregate personal
information so that it no longer
identifies an individual
and use it for any legal purpose.

Within Peterson Group
The various entities within Peterson
Group may share
personal information with each other and

each Group entity to comply with
applicable laws,
regulations and requirements and ensures

information is consistent, accurate and
up-to-date. In
addition, this facilitated access to
your information
within the Peterson Group which helps
improve the quality
and relevance of the services you
receive and helps
improve your interactions with us.
Service Providers
We may hire service providers, which may
be affiliates, to
perform services on our behalf. This may
include, without
limitation, internal audit, management,
billing, website
hosting or similar services, or
otherwise to collect, use,
share, store or process personal
information on our behalf
for the purposes described in this
Privacy Policy. We
provide them with a limited amount of
information in order
for them to provide the services
required and we will
ensure that they have entered into
contractual
arrangements that provide adequate
protection of your

Business Transactions
We may share personal information with

amalgamation, re-organization,
financing, securitization,
insuring or assignment of all or parts

event the transaction

the event the transaction is not
completed, we will

subpoena, valid demand, search warrant,

cannot promise that
